FIELD: conveyance equipment, particularly driving gear for endless conveyers.
SUBSTANCE: method involves accelerating electric drive of flight conveyer up to rating value of operating characteristic in braking torque absence in outer central wheel of differential mechanism; linking kinematic chain of conveyer drive to output engine shaft by creating braking torque in outer central wheel of differential mechanism and removing above braking torque during conveyer deactivation. Braking torque is additionally created at output shaft of differential mechanism as electric engine of flight conveyer drive accelerates up to rating value of operating characteristic and during conveyer deactivation. Above braking torque is removed during kinematical conveyer drive connection. Drive with epicyclic reduction gear for above method realization comprises electric motor, reduction gear with differential mechanism made as central wheel with internal teeth. The central wheel is connected to reduction gear body through the first controlled clutch. Drive has additional controllable clutch having the first half-clutch connected to reducer body and the second half-clutch installed at output shaft of differential mechanism included in reduction gear mechanism.
EFFECT: improved drive starting characteristic, elimination of idle conveyer chain run-out and provision of necessary calculated tension thereof.
