SUBSTANCE: rock machine with differential reducer, containing a stage with a differential mechanism, chain towing supply unit start-up method, concludes in chain towing rock machine supply unit drive electrical motor acceleration until a performance nominal value at a braking moment absence on the differential mechanism external central wheel with the following connection of the machine supply drive kinematical chain to the drive output shaft, by generation a breaking moment on the differential ring external central ring. At the supply drive connection to the towing unit apply impulse towing force with a value 1.5-2 times exceeding the rock machine drive nominal towing force. After 0.3-0.5 seconds remove towing force from the drive chain, and then apply nominal value towing force to the chain towing unit. Create impulse towing force on the rock machine chain towing unit by applying impulse rotation moment to the drive output shaft.
EFFECT: reliability increase, simplification of the rock machine start-up after its lasting shut-down period.
