FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device can be used for studying physical-chemical properties of liquids and for precision measurement of temperature dependence of density of metal liquids by means of densimeter method. Device has chamber for primary reception of liquid metal or alloy connected with measuring chamber by communication tube, and priming unit welded to chamber for primary reception of liquid metal or alloy by means of communication tube. Ends of communication tubes are introduced into chamber for primary reception for length at least of half diameter of the chamber. Two valve-unload containers are connected to bottom of measuring chamber at different levels. Crucible is mounted inside measuring chamber. Measure capillary, mounted erected, It has its lower end tightly connected with bottom of crucible. Crucible is connected with chamber for primary reception of liquid metal or alloy though capillary.

EFFECT: improved precision; improved reliability of measurement; continuity at single-time loading of device with tested metal or alloy.
