FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermometer designed for measurement of low temperatures (up to 195 K), which includes two coaxial axisymmetrical cylinders of various diameters with vacuum tightly sealed ends, the gap between which is filled with a fire-resistant powder mixture up to the height exceeding the position of upper level of working liquid chamber to the distance equal to the gap between coaxial cylinders. Lower part of internal cylinder represents a chamber with sodium-potassium-cesium eutectic melt (working liquid) contained in it, which is continued to a long calibrated capillary, in which working liquid meniscus moves, as per the position of which ambient temperature is determined. An expansion tank is provided on upper end of thermometer.

EFFECT: improving the accuracy of obtained measurement results in the area of low temperatures, and providing fire safety.
