FIELD: engineering of stereoscopic systems for demonstrating a multi-angle volumetric image without special goggles and headwear.
SUBSTANCE: device for reproducing a volumetric image contains a matrix light source, consisting of point light sources, regularly positioned on a plane, and an information panel optically connected to it, consisting of sections with possible creation of fragments of volumetric image by each section. Matrix light source and information panel are positioned in parallel planes and held in space relatively to each other. A light-absorbing grid, consisting of volumetric cells, made with possible receipt of light from one point source respectively only on one section of information panel, is positioned between the matrix light source and the information panel.
EFFECT: expanded zone of observation of volumetric image, prevented distortion of same and possible examination of same.
