FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for demonstrating raster stereoscopic image with high resolution relates to cinematographic equipment and is designed for viewing motion picture and video films (including animated) and for use in educational and training processes. The device for demonstrating a raster stereoscopic image includes a projection system; a translucent screen; a cylindrical lens raster in front of the screen; a projection system made from several projectors and a unit for forming stereoscopic image fragments. The stereoscopic image is broken by the unit for forming stereoscopic image fragments into fragments, the number of which corresponds to the number of projectors. Outputs of the unit for forming stereoscopic image fragments are connected to inputs of the projection devices which are made with possibility of joining these fragments on the screen as a whole multiple-aspect stereoscopic image with common areas for viewing each aspect.
EFFECT: demonstration of a multiple-aspect stereo motion picture and video films using an autostereoscopic technique with infinitely high resolution.
