FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to supply of rolling stock pneumatic systems with compressed air. Proposed locomotive adsorption plant has control unit 4, compressor 1 with drive electric motor 2, controlled by pressure relay 8 and contactor 3 with normally open contacts 5, 6, 7 in plant control unit 4. Heat exchanger 10, air collectors 11, oil-and-moisture separator 12 and two parallel adsorbers 13, 14 connected in series. Adsorbers 13 14 are furnished with cutoff valves 15, 16 at inlet, blow down valves 17, 18 in lower part and check valves 19, 20 at outlet. Plant contains also regenerated air main line 21 with restrictor 22 parallel to outlets of adsorbers 13, 14 and supply main line 23 with air collector 24 shunting main line 43. Contactor 3 of plant control unit 4 has two additional normally open contacts 6, 7, one installed in each control circuit of valves 48, 49 of blow down valves 17, 18 of adsorbers 13, 14.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of drying of compressed air and reliability of adsorption plant.
