FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: locomotive adsorption plant comprises control unit and electrically driven compressor with its motor controlled by pressure relay. It comprises also heat exchanger, air manifold, oil-moisture separator, two parallel adsorbers, all being connected in series with compressor. Every parallel adsorber is furnished with inlet shut-off valve, blow-down valve fitted in its bottom part and outlet check valves. Further, it includes regeneration air line with throttle running parallel to adsorber outlets, feed line with air manifold and bridging line with shut-off valves. Regeneration air line has two normally open on-off valves, controlled electromagnetic gate and additional throttle. Compressed air humidity pickup is connected to feed line, pickup closing contact being connected to coil of on-off valve electromagnetic gate arranged between throttles.
EFFECT: reduced operating costs in production of compressed dehumidified air.
