FIELD: aeronautical engineering; devices for securing engine to swept wing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine gimbal mount has pylon (5) made in form of elongated beam. Upper face of pylon is connected with wing by means of two rods (10) located in planes of side faces of pylon. Corners of final frame (6) of pylon are connected with wing by means of articulated joints provided with load-bearing members located on front side of wing spar and on lower skin of wing. Load-bearing members located on outer side of spar and lower skin of wing are strengthened with load-bearing members inside wing, thus ensuring optimal distribution of forces from pylon on skin and spar of wing. Gimbal mount makes it possible to retain serviceability and service characteristics in case of breakage of one component.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability; reduced mass; optimal arrangement.
