The substance of the invention consists that the protective coating is made in the form of the nanostructure. The nanostructure includes the totality of the atoms of the rare-earth elements introduced into the structure of the reinforcing is atomic-molecular metallic matrix array. The nanostructure may be the constituent part of the protected structure or the protective coating of the structure.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the development of the protective coating having the high persistence to the action of the ionizing radiations at the small specific gravity of the structure.
