FIELD: drilling equipment, particularly screw downhole motor to drill directional wells in areas of well bore inclination change.
SUBSTANCE: screw downhole motor comprises movement section arranged in body and bit shaft section. The bit shaft section includes body, shaft, axial bearing, radial bearing, upper sub, nut installed in lower bit shaft section body part and angle regulator including hinged joint. Bit shaft section body diameter exceeds moving section body diameter. Lower radial bearing includes two parts serially arranged on the shaft and is installed in nut. The nut has additional nipple connection to secure thereof to bit shaft section body. Safety bush is mounted on the shaft. Hinged joint is made as flat rotationally translating kinematic pair and comprises rod. Rod end defines square in cross-section and has spherical support surface. Hinged joint comprises clutch, thrust bearing with spherical support surface, as well as jar washer and thrust washer fixed with coupling nut. Rod end is arranged in the clutch so that peripheral gap is created between the rod end and the clutch.
EFFECT: increased service life and decreased maintenance costs.
