FIELD: box-type magazines for small-arms cartridges.
SUBSTANCE: the magazine has a body with a neck, feeder and an ejecting spring. The ejecting spring is made in the form of a bellows, whose loops have a rectangular shape with two, three or more different planes positioned in such a way that two, three and more similar adjacent loops in the compressed state are stacked one inside the other on one plane, and the loops of the whose spring at its compression can be folded up in the horizontal and vertical planes in two, three and more rows. Due to it, in the compressed state the spring occupies less space in the magazine for the weapon because of a compact arrangement of the loops as a result of which a space is set free for additional cartridges.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of the weapon and its fire capabilities.
