FIELD: nondestructive check.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used in anti-filtration protection of water-resources waterside and irrigation and drainage constructions. To determine durability of mastic sealing materials in deformation seams of waterside structures, relative elongation and limit durability of mastic sealing material are determined while stretching reference samples of sealed seams. Reference samples are previously held in air for at least 8 days after they were produced until mastic-sealing material hardens completely in correspondence with standard requirements. After that samples are subject under natural conditions of exploitation to complex influence of multiple environmental factors. In equal periods of time during up to 7 years while standard samples are held under real nature conditions, main factors of reliability and durability of mastic sealing material like relative elongation and limit of strength at extension. Changes in relative elongation and limit of strength of mastic sealing materials is determined depending on time of exposure under of real nature conditions; durability of mastic sealing matters in deformation seams of waterside structures is found by calculation. Durability of mastic sealing materials is evaluated which sealing materials are subject to UV-radiation, effect of water, cyclical frosting and de-frosting, non-uniform deformations in base and etc.
EFFECT: higher reliability of durability forecast.
