FIELD: manufacture of road-building materials; preparation of emulsion mineral mixtures kept at storehouses for medium and patching repairs of pavements.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes treatment of mineral material with compound enhancing adhesion of bitumen to mineral material and mixing of this material with bitumen cation emulsion. Used as mineral material is narrow-fractionated crushed stone from tailings of dry magnetic separation of iron-containing ores of Kursk magnetic anomaly at content of hematite of 19.0-32.0%; treatment of crushed stone is carried out with the aid of compound enhancing adhesion of bitumen to crushed stone in the amount of 0.3-0.5 parts by weight depending on content of hematite in crushed stone.
EFFECT: enhanced adhesion of bitumen to fractionated crushed stone; enhanced water-resisting property, strength and durability of pavement; low cost of repairs.
