FIELD: assembly of holster and cover for portable firearm, type revolvers and semiautomatic piston.

SUBSTANCE: the holster for portable hand firearm has a casing in which the firearm at least partially is positioned. The cover body is made for motion between the open position providing for insertion and removed of the firearm from the casing, and the closed position, in which the firearm is enclosed inside the casing, when the firearm is in the removed position. The cover body is made for turning relative the axis perpendicular to the axis of the firearm muzzle, when the firearm is in the removed position. The holster may contain the plunger assembly installed in the casing. The holster may contain the breechblock hooking plate preventing the forward notion of the weapon breechblock beyond the weapon hooking plate, and a retainer, which receives the locking safety lever of the weapons. The holster may have an L-shaped slot at least on one lateral surface of the casing.

EFFECT: provided maximum reliable holster system.
