METHOD FOR BRINGING-IN THE PISTOL TO COMBAT READINESS AND HOLSTER (MODIFICATIONS) Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: facilities for carrying of small arms.

SUBSTANCE: use is made of a holster with a slot for the pistol handle. In the process of rectilinear pushing-through of the pistol in the holster the grip safety is additionally changed over to the position of combat readiness.

SUBSTANCE: the body of the holster is provided with guides for the slide, facility for change-over of the grip safety and a spring-loaded slide stop. The facility for change-over of the grip safety is positioned on the side wall of the body on the side of arrangement of the pistol safety, it is made in the form of a spring-loaded fork, and the mentioned slide stop is made in the form of a cantilever plate with a stop installed for engagement with the pistol slide stop and with the safety thumb catch at a change-over of the safety. According to the second modification, the facility for change-over of the pistol safety is made in the form of a shaped window (one-sided trapezoid) on the side wall of the body. The facility for fixation of the pistol is made in the form of a spring-loaded plate fastened for deflection of it by the pistol, when it is placed in the holster, and for engagement with the thumb catch base. The other wall of the body has a supporting boss for the pistol receiver in its base symmetrically with the mentioned shaped window, the length of the supporting boss exceeds the maximum dimension of the shaped windows.

EFFECT: reduced time of bringing-in the pistol to combat readiness.
