FIELD: processes and equipment for applying coating in order to protect article surfaces against corrosion action of aggressive media, for imparting them desired properties such as high wear resistance, corrosion resistance and so on, restoration of worn geometry size of article due to improved adhesion of deposited layer with base.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for preparing article surface to deposition is in the form of fork with axle parallel to article axis and supporting working organ mounted by sliding fit and made in the form of solid disc. Right and left surfaces of disc have in their edges cone protrusions mutually divided by through grooves and being in the form of sectors or rectangles. Each protrusion of right and left surface of disc is arranged in front of grooves of respective surfaces.
EFFECT: enhanced strength, simplified design of working organ made according to simplified manufacturing process.
