FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sphere of application of coatings for protecting parts from corrosive action of aggressive media and for imparting such properties to articles as high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. Invention can be used for restoring worn-out parts to required geometric parameters at high adhesion of deposited layer to base. Invention is aimed at improving quality of machining of extreme left-hand and right-hand threads. According to proposed method, after cutting of "broken" thread on part, combined deformation of tops of "broken" thread by displacing its upper part to left-hand and tight-hand side alternately two side is formed for semi-anchor lock at machining of top of one turn of "broken" thread with tool secured on carriage at one pass. In known device, made in form of fork and containing axle parallel to axis of article on which working member is freely fitted, according to invention working members made in form of two shaped disk rigidly interconnected. Side inner surface of disks is made conical with cylindrical belt. Moreover, conical part of disk, at its base, is provided with cylindrical round flats forming projections and cavities. Disks are interconnected so that projection of one disk is arranged opposite to cavity of other disk. Use of this method makes it possible to permit deposition by spraying in difficult to get-at surfaces owing to the fact that proposed device can form two side profile without necessity of passing along one turn of "broken" thread from both sides.
