FIELD: machine engineering, namely three-dimensional orientation of articles.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes elastically joined one to other basic member 1 and oriented in space mounting member; peripheral supporting units 3, 4 arranged between said members; device for fixing predetermined spatial position of mounting member. Centers of spherical supporting members of each supporting unit are arranged in apexes of triangle, mainly right triangle. Each peripheral supporting unit includes two members 14 and 15 between spherical surfaces of which regulation member 16 with wedge surface is mounted with possibility of motion. Member 14 is rigidly secured to mounting member; member 15 is kinematically coupled with basic member through spring-loaded lever 17. Device for fixing spatial position of mounting member is in the form of three fixing units 6 arranged along periphery of apparatus. Each unit 6 includes mutually movable jaws 8, 9 coupled with basic member and leaf spring 10 whose one end is rigidly secured to mounting member and whose other end is arranged between surfaces of jaws turned one to other. Lengthwise axes of leaf springs 10 of fixing units 6 are inclined one relative to other by inclination angle different from 0° or 180° and they are oriented along basic plane of basic member by angle almost equal to 0 or 180°.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of orientation of articles, improved accuracy and quality of working articles.
