FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal processing and can be used to secure non-rigid workpieces, for example, during milling. Method of fixation includes location of workpiece on body-plate with contact of support surface of workpiece with self-aligning spring-loaded supports, which are fixed in position corresponding to geometrical shape of technological setting base of workpiece, wherein supports are used, each of which is made in form of a bushing, arranged with possibility of axial movement on thin-walled guide rod and spring-loaded to it, wherein the supports are fixed in the corresponding position by means of pressurisation into the cavities of the said rods of oil under pressure with creation of elastic deformation of their walls. Besides, part of the above supports is equipped with vacuum suction cups installed with possibility of billet fixation by means of pressing to supports at creation of vacuum in suckers.
EFFECT: use of invention improves reliability of workpiece fastening and accuracy of its processing.
