SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains vehicle absolute speed measuring unit coupled with differentiator and with unit calculating safe distance between vehicle and leader whose output is connected to comparator connected with actuators of brake system and engine control system, radar, unit to determine steady-state deceleration of vehicle, maximum deceleration detector, brake delay determining unit, memory, steerable wheels turning angle determining unit, unit to produce correction to safe distance value, brake pressure pickups and beginning of braking pickup. Steerable wheels turning angle determining unit is connected with output of comparator and input of indicator and actuators of steering system.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of control and steering systems, improved safety of the road.
