ETCHED STEEL STRIPS MANUFACTURING METHOD Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC C23F1/00 

FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly manufacture of etched hot rolled steep strips.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of oiling etched steel strips and coiling them; before coiling uniformly applying onto hot rolled strips conservation oil with viscosity 19.5 - 20.5 St at flow rate of oil 2 - 8 g/m² of strip surface area and at temperature of oil 50 - 60°C. Oiled strips are coiled onto drum of coiler at tension value determined depending upon thickness and width of steel strip according to relation T = 10.5H + 0.01B + 45 where T - tension value at coiling strip, kN; H -thickness of steel strip, mm; B - width of steel strip, mm.

EFFECT: improved quality of hot rolled strips due to preventing flaws occurring at coiling strips after etching.
