FIELD: production of cold rolled steel in coils.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of etching hot rolled strips; straightening them by tension; cold rolling of them, lengthwise unreeling and coiling ready strips to coils. Enhanced consumer's properties of low-carbon cold rolled steel designed for further working of it by forming is achieved due to straightening strip by tension at elongation of metal in range 1.0 -1.2%. Lengthwise unreeling is realized without oiling by means of stored oil. Ends of ready coils are covered with uniform layer of corrosion preventing matter.
EFFECT: lowered manufacturing expenses, enhanced consumer's properties of low carbon cold rolled steel.
