FIELD: radio engineering, possible use in radio-receiving devices of radio communication means with noise-like signals, produced by manipulation of phase of signal of carrying frequency by a pseudo-random series.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, in the method for phase-locked-loop frequency control of heterodyne in coherent tracking receiver of noise-like signal, input signal is amplified, mixed with heterodyne signal and transformed frequency-wise. Then, complex correlation function of input signal with pseudo-random series, generated in the receiver, is calculated, and correlation function module is calculated. After determining maximum of correlation function, phase mismatch signal is generated by means of periodical computation of complex correlation function and its module, selection of real and imaginary component of complex correlation function in a point, corresponding to maximum of complex correlation function module, multiplication by one with sign of another component and division of correlation function module by maximal value, which module is filtered by low frequency filter and controlled by heterodyne signal frequency.

EFFECT: increased precision of phase-locked-loop frequency control of receiver heterodyne, possible phase-locked-loop frequency control of receiver heterodyne, when pseudo-random series of input noise-like signal is phase-manipulated from information source.
