FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely methods for manufacturing parts of powder materials, possibly manufacture of sleeves of sliding bearing assemblies.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of sintering powder compositions on base of iron powder between die 1 made of highly electrically - and heat- conducting material and roller -electrode 3; acting upon sintered belt going out from under roller-electrode 3 by magnetic field with intensity (346.4 - 580.6) x 10 -3 Tl; then separating belt from die surface and guiding it along surface of roller-electrode by means of electromagnetic guiding member 4 and closing it to sleeve. Guiding member 4 is made of magnetically soft steel and it is arranged at free side of roller-electrode 3. Gap between guiding member 4 and sintered sleeve consists 0.9 - 1.2 of sintered belt thickness value.

EFFECT: possibility for simultaneously sintering powder composition and forming it to sleeve directly in restoration shops at restoring equipment.
