FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wear-resistant composite sintered materials used for production of arms of drilling tool and support-centering devices produced by powder metallurgy, particularly devices for calibration of well shaft. In method of forming teeth of calibrator boreholes arms preliminarily kneads high-chromium cast iron powder and self-fluxing powder alloy of Ni-B-Si system on binder in certain ratio of components to produce matrix, then added to obtained matrix of strengthening phase in form of titanium carbide with certain ratio. Then produced mixture is applied on metal substrate placed in mandrel of preset configuration corresponding to shank end surface of tooth in plane, and compacted by movable copper male die at preset pressure, obtained product is sintered by cyclic passing of electric current through it with specific power of sintering in range of 2,000-2,700 J/mm3 for 1.5-3.5 s, then it is cooled down at room temperature to obtain tooth.
EFFECT: higher hardness and antifriction properties of working portion of calibrator boreholes arms teeth, as well as its resistance to damage.
