FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises applying metallic patch on the crack from above and securing it to the casing part. The thickness of the patch is 2-4 m, and the patch overlaps the crack over 20-40 mm. The holes are drilled throughout the area of the metallic patch at a distance of 4-6 mm one from the other and 2 mm from the edge. The through holes of a diameter of 3 mm are drilled in the wall of the casing part.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
