SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of glazes, which can be used for coating articles of porcelain, faience, majolica, and other ceramics. Glaze of invention is composed of, wt %: SiO2 40.0-50.0, B2O3 16.0-20.0, MgO 5.0-7.0, SrO 6.0-10.0, Na2O 1.0-3.0, CaO 6.0-10.0, MnO2 2.0-4.0, TiO2 8.0-12.0.
EFFECT: increased frost resistance of glaze.
