METHOD FOR QUICK-TEST DIAGNOSTICS OF STRUCTURAL PULMONARY ALTERATIONS AT CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01N33/00

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with quick-test diagnostics of structural pulmonary alterations in case of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) due to registering pulmonary radiation. Thus, one should prepare beforehand a biological indicator consisting of 0.1%-aqueous solution of the mixture of amino acids - aspartic, glutamic, glycine, tryptophan, valine, leucine, threonine, serine, 0.5%-aqueous solution of trypsin, 0.5%-dopamine solution, 0.25%-aqueous solution of DNA sodium salt, 12%-aqueous solution of magnesium sulfate at the ratio of 3:1:1:1:4 to be applied onto 4 glass plates. One should introduce per 2 plates into subclavian area into the 2^nd intercostals area right-hand and left-hand to keep for about 2-3 min, dry at +18-20°C, investigate in polarized light with a quartz compensator. In case of insular and/or slit-like inclusions surrounded by the periphery with a reticulo-cellular crown it is possible to diagnose structural pulmonary alterations being characteristic for COPD. The innovation enables to increase information value and rate of registration in the dynamics of structural pulmonary COPD-induced reconstruction.
