FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, biology, pathophysiology and can be used for diagnostics of ulcerative colitis. Method is easy-to-perform, high-informative, cost-saving, and profit-proved. Left iliac region within sigmoid intestine projection is supplied with 5-6 glass plates with applied strip biological test system consisting of composition 0.1% amino acid aqueous solution: asparaginic, glycine, tryptophane, leucine, proline, arginine, threonine, series, taken in equal ratios; 0.5% dopamine aqueous solution; 0.25% sodium salt solution DNA; 25% magnesia sulphate aqueous solution in ratio 4:1:1:4. Plates are kept 2-3 minutes, then preparation is dried out at temperature + 18±20°C throughout 2-3 minutes, analysed in polarised light with quartz compensator. If crystals - airfree subparallel - are found in samples, ulcerative colitis of slight severity is diagnosed; if shapeless coarse subparallel fusion crystals are found ulcerative colitis is diagnosed as of medium severity; and fibre-like fusion conglomerates indicate severe ulcerative colitis.
