METHOD FOR PERFORMING PERIODIC CALCULATIONS (VARIANTS) AND AUTOMATED COMPUTING SYSTEM FOR REALIZATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G06Q40/00 

FIELD: automated computer systems.

SUBSTANCE: method for performing complex periodic calculations is based on usage of mechanism for replacing some calculations with other calculations based on period of effect. In accordance to this method, information is inputted into first information structure, which contains minimally two records, each of which includes at least a field for naming the type of calculation, field with links to types of calculations, which have priority over current type of calculations, information is inputted into second information structure, which contains at least two records, each one of which includes at least a field of attribute, pointing at association with a type of calculations, two fields, making it possible to set time period of calculation effect, and calculation result field, association of first record of second information structure with certain type of calculations is determined on basis of appropriate attribute, first information structure is addressed, which contains description of calculation types and their connections and a list of calculations is composed, having priority over type of calculation, determined for first record of second information structure, and records are selected from second information structure, which satisfy conditions, in accordance to which attributes of target records point at association with priority types of calculations, received from first information structure, and simultaneously period of effect of target records intersects with period of effect of first record of second information structure, and then results of first record of second information structure is calculated with consideration of its actual period of effect, computed as a result of intersection with period of effect of selected priority records and results are positioned in the result field of first record of second information structure.

EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of the system, reduced losses of time and resources during adaptation of system for realization of new types of periodic calculations.
