FIELD: biotechnology, in particular detection of human pneumonia provocative.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes legionella detection by cultivation of tested probe on dense selective medium by using of reversal agent. As reversal agent Neisseria sp. commensal culture is used which is applied together with probe on nutrient medium and homogeneously dispensed on its surface. Then samples is preliminary dried in thermostat at 37°C and incubated in thermostat at the same temperature for 6-8 days. Data are obtained on 3-4 incubation days with parallel comparison with data obtained without reversal agent. When legionella cells are present in probe in vegetative state, colony numbers in compared samples is identical. When legionella cells are present in probe in non-cultivated state their number is increased in biofilm of Neisseria sp. commensal culture.
EFFECT: method of increased effectiveness.
