FIELD: oil production industry, particularly means to protect production string and sucker rods against wear caused by friction.

SUBSTANCE: coupler comprises upper half-coupling, ball finger and lower half-coupling. Lower half-coupling is installed on cylindrical threaded ball finger part. Upper half-coupling is connected to lower one through case. Ball finger is arranged in lower case part and installed on inner spherical surface thereof. Lower half-coupling is fixed with figured nut having spherical inner surface and with threaded lock nut. Coupling has protective antiwear washer. Antowear washer, end surface of upper half-coupling and inner spherical case surface define cavity filled with consistent black-lead grease.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of coupler usage in wells characterized by abnormal geological-and-technical operating conditions.
