FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: connecting device includes connection clutches, common cylindrical clutch containing internal projections in which there arranged are cylindrical hinges each of which is made as an integral part of the corresponding connection clutch with possibility of free rotation relative to each other in internal projections of common cylindrical clutch. Common cylindrical clutch is equipped with longitudinal slot, and annular recess the height of which is more than that of each of cylindrical hinges is made inside it in the centre. Cylindrical grooves in which cylindrical hinges are arranged with a gap are made inside the clutch on both sides of annular recess. Shock absorbing cylindrical element is installed into annular recess of clutch. Annular recess of clutch is equipped with through threaded hole opposite longitudinal slot, into which a screw is screwed prior to the device erection. Inside annular recess there is the cavity in which there arranged is spring semi-ring having the possibility of being compressed along the perimetre of cavity and moved radially to the centre of common cylindrical clutch, under action of the force created when screw is being screwed-in, thus squeezing out the shock absorbing cylindrical element from common cylindrical clutch.

EFFECT: improving operating reliability of the device and reducing the number of breaks of rod strings.
