FIELD: oil and gas production, particularly equipment to perform perforating works in oil and gas wells.
SUBSTANCE: charging unit comprises sealed body, charge activating means and case 2 located inside the body. The case 2 has seats adapted to guide shaped charges 2. The case is of tubular shape. Shaped charges are oriented in pairs inside the case. Two charges of one pair define 90° angle in-between. Charge seats for neighboring lower shaped charge pairs are arranged in the case so that the first charge seat in upper shaped charge pair is shifted at obtuse or oblique angle with respect to the first charge seat for lower shaped charge pair.
EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency of well perforation.
