FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: temperature gage comprises housing provided with the outer thread and mounted in the pipeline by means of the setting head. The top section of the housing is closed with a lid. The bottom section of the housing g is connected with the metallic protecting sleeve that receives the thermosensitive member made of a quartz resonator. The output leads of the quartz resonator are connected to the circuit of the frequency generator by means of wires. The frequency generator is mounted on the printed circuit set in the housing. The adjusting head, housing, and sleeve are made of a hollow metallic structure. The thermosensitive resistance of the sleeve varies with length taking a minimum at the site of heat removal and maximum at the site of heat transfer to the housing. The space between the walls of the opening made in the housing and the resonator is filled with the heat conducting material, e.g. quartz sand or heat conducting paste, up to a level somewhat higher than the top edge of the housing of the resonator. The space of the submersible section lies above this level and is filled with a special agent.
