FIELD: transport engineering; power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creating steam power engines for road vehicles. Proposed engine contains steam boiler whose steam output is connected with turbine input. Shaft of turbine is connected with shaft of road vehicle. Turbine contains at least two steam supply branch pipes whose axes do not coincide with radius of turbine rotor, and one steam outlet branch pipe. At least three cavities are made on surface of turbine rotor to receive steam for rotating turbine rotor whose axes are parallel to axes of steam supply branch pipes, and bottom is made spherical. Engine can be provided additionally with supply water tank connected by cock to steam boiler. Steam outlet branch pipe can be connected to steam condenser input. Steam condenser output can be connected to water tank input or to steam boiler.
EFFECT: increased economy of road vehicles.
