FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed for use in large-capacity piston (plunger) pumps operating in oil and gas producing, mine, coal, metallurgical and other industries. Proposed drive includes pump bed frame, installed on bearings welded main shaft with hollow eccentrics and gear wheels on hubs and transmission shaft with gears forming gear pairs with wheels arranged after extreme eccentrics inside bed frame. Novelty is that hub of one of gear wheels is made detachable. Said hub is made integral with hollow extreme eccentric and is installed on outer cylindrical surface of eccentric arranged before extreme eccentric. According to other design version, two identical hubs of gear wheels with extreme eccentrics are installed on outer cylindrical surfaces of eccentrics arranged at opposite sides before extreme eccentrics.
EFFECT: reduced inter-rod (inter-cylinder) distance, width of bed frame, length of main and transmission shafts, increased rigidity and manufacturability of shafts, improved mass and dimension parameters of drive.
