FIELD: training devices, possible use in laboratory practicum in academy and college physics course for studying physical laws.

SUBSTANCE: the device contains EMF recorder and a long solenoid, connected to harmonic voltage generator, a board, on which the long solenoid is perpendicularly fastened. A circular conductor is held on the board, which envelopes the long solenoid, and its ends are connected to inputs of EMF recorder. For discontinuous alternation of external load, sectioned rheostat is used, containing (n-2) sections, its first input being connected to first input of EMF recorder. Connection of corresponding sections to circular coil is realized by a switch with n positions, moveable contact of which is connected to second input of EMF recorder, and immoveable contacts are connected to corresponding contacts of sectioned rheostat. The immoveable contact number n of the switch remains free, immoveable contact number (n-1) of the switch is connected to second input of sectioned rheostat, and first immoveable contact of the switch is connected to first input of sectioned rheostat.
