FIELD: educational devices.

SUBSTANCE: assembly has first coil, dc supply, second coil, wooden support onto which first coil is fixed. Transparent casing is fixed onto wooden support. Second coil's dash-pot is mounted onto transparent casing. Sale with marks is mounted onto transparent casing in parallel to axis of first coil. Second coil is provided with position pointer and it is attached onto hard suspension which is placed onto horizontal axis, rotating in openings made in transparent casing. Outputs of second coil are connected with common contacts of first and second poles of first two-pole switch being capable of switching to two positions. First input of first ammeter is connected with contact if first position of first pole of first switch. Motionless contact of first rheostat is connected with second input of first ammeter. Its movable contact is connected with first terminal of dc source. Second terminal of dc source is connected with contact of first position of second pole of first switch. Contacts of second position of first and second poles of first switch are connected with inputs of electromotive force registrar. First input of second ammeter is connected with first input of first coil. Second input of ammeter is connected with motionless contact of second rheostat. Second two-pole switch, which has common contacts of first and second poles connected with second input of first coil and with movable contact of second rheostat. Contacts of first positions of first and second poles are connected with terminals of dc source. Contacts of second positions of first and second poles of second switch are connected with outputs of ac generator.

EFFECT: widened field of study of nonuniform magnetic field.
