FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly permitting fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.
SUBSTANCE: fish-pass comprises canal having outlet head communicated with upper pool of hydraulic system and inlet head connected to lower pool thereof, transversal partitions installed obliquely to canal sides and serially arranged along fish-passing path so that the partitions define chambers in-between. Fish pass has swimming-in orifices made as vertical slots extending along transversal partition heights and additional swimming-in orifices made in transversal partition planes and aligned with vertical slots to create combined swimming-in orifices located in transversal partition plane. Additional swimming-in orifice has width exceeding vertical slot width.
EFFECT: possibility to create hydraulic conditions favorable for fish movement along fish-pass and simplified structure.
