FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish passes permitting fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.
SUBSTANCE: fish pass comprises waterway made as gutter with rectangular cross-section having outlet head connected to upper pool of hydrosystem and inlet one communicated with lower pool thereof. Fish pass also has independent fish passing channels extending along fish pass gutter length and including transversal partitions with bottom swimming-in orifices and transition areas communicating independent fish passing channels. Each fish passing channel is made as integral unit including one working chamber defined by transversal partitions with surface and bottom swimming-in orifices. Independent fish-passing channels are located at fish pass gutter side walls. Even-numbered independent fish passing channels adjoin right side wall of fish passing channel. Odd-numbered ones are adjacent to left side thereof. Transition areas are asymmetric to even-numbered and odd-numbered independent fish passing channels and create additional swimming-in orifices extending for the full flow depth between end parts of even-numbered and odd-numbered independent fish passing channels. Independent fish passing channels have widths equal to half of fish pass gutter width.
EFFECT: possibility to create hydraulic conditions, which facilitate fish movement along fish pass.
