FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: fiber-optic movement converter comprises optical fibers for input and output light beam and movable surface provided with mirror and absorbing sections and mounted at a distance from the common face of the fibers. The distance between the movable surface and the common face of the fibers is determined from the formula proposed.

EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced reliability.
