FIELD: control-measuring equipment, possible use in physical value indicators.

SUBSTANCE: fiber-optic movement converter contains one feeding and two draining optical fibers, a Z surface moving in vertical direction having mirroring and absorbing sections, mounted at a distance X0 from common end of optical fibers and which is made in form of horizontal stripe. Optical fibers are positioned one above the other in vertical direction, horizontal axis of mirroring surface at Z=0 is shifted relatively to optical axis of feeding optical fiber for a value, equal to radius of core rc of optical fiber, where height H and width b of mirror section of the surface are determined by expressions: H=2X02tgθNA+rc, b≥H, where θNA - aperture angle of optical fiber.

EFFECT: increased metrological characteristics.
