FIELD: electro-measuring equipment engineering, possible use during operation of three-phased electric networks with isolated or compensated neutral for operative detection of damaged location prior to departure of maintenance service to the location.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining location of one-phased ground short circuit of power line with usage of its model includes composing an equivalent circuit for network with isolated neutral, which is used to compute transitory process parameters for all lines, setting distance to damaged location along whole length of line with step of 10 meters and for various transitory resistances in damaged located with step of 10 Ohm, inherent frequencies of transition process computed in such a way are recorded in database on electronic computing machine, and on occurrence of damage at substation damaged line and actual inherent frequency of transition process are recorded, compared to computed parameters, recorded in database, and distance of damaged location is determined with precision, determined by step of damaged location distance setting.
EFFECT: increased precision and increased speed of damaged location detection process.
