FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has non-differential amplifier for amplifying electric cardiac signal, and two electrodes only for reading cardiac signal and sending it to amplifier input: proximal one is mounted on watch casing and the other remote one is to be set on chest surface. The electrodes are connected to electric cardiac signal amplifier inputs with cable manufactured as twisted-pair cable in insulation. One of the twisted-pair cable wires is connected to the first amplifier input with one of its ends and to the remote electrode with the other end. The second twisted-pair cable wire is connected to the proximal electrode whereas the second end is left free. Liquid crystal matrix display is used for visualizing electric cardiac signal analysis results. It enables one to display both digital and text data on the screen. To transmit electrocardiogram saved on magnetic carriers or via Internet network to a medical care institution for analyzing it, infrared port is available in cardiomonitor operating on standard IrDA protocol basis.
EFFECT: prolonged service life; reduced energy consumption; improved usability characteristics.
