HOT ROLLED COIL STRIP CUTTING AGGREGATE DESIGNED FOR SAMPLING Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B23D25/12 

FIELD: rolled stock production, namely sampling strip of hot rolled coils before cutting said strips in cutting units or before delivering them to consumers.

SUBSTANCE: aggregate includes tilting apparatus, roller type uncoiling unit with clamping roller, shears for sheets with cleaning unit, feed rollers and stacking apparatus for sheets. Tilting apparatus is joined with uncoiling unit and they are arranged in the same framework. Uncoiling unit includes drive supporting rollers; on one of said rollers scraper with rocking drive is mounted. Uncoiling unit also includes stationary mounted straightening-bending roller, guiding straightening roller mounted with possibility of vertical motion, two lower straightening-bending rollers mounted under stationary roller in single-arm lever jointly secured to framework. One of said lower straightening-bending rollers is mounted with possibility of vertical motion. Clamping roller of uncoiling unit is mounted in lever jointly secured to crosspiece of sheet shears. Stationary straightening roller includes pickup for measuring length of cut sheets.

EFFECT: improved mechanization of cutting out sample of strip without using gaseous cutting procedure, less loss of yield, possibility for producing commercial products in the form of sheets from cut-off end portions of strip.
