FIELD: designs of cold-rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: working stand of universal cold-rolling mill has supporting beams with mechanism of back-up roll balancing and axial fixing of four-high working rolls. Multiroll holder with turning holders may be installed instead of working rolls. Pressing device of working stand consists of electric motor connected with reducing gear and screw engageable via spherical axial bearing with hydraulic cylinder and linear displacement transducer. Working stand drive includes multispeed reduced and electric motors coaxially installed and connected by means of remote-controlled clutches. Universal cold-rolling mill is provided with winding machines mounted in, at least, two levels above and under rolling plane and having sets of changeable drums. Their drives are similar to working stand drive. Universal cold-rolling mill has flying divider - scissors, sheet handler and sheet piller. EFFECT: extended process potentialities of cold-rolling mills of monometals and polymetallic compositions, provided preparatory, finishing and cladding operations by sheet and/or coil process. 4 cl, 12 dwg
