FIELD: non-expendable space systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed launch vehicle has axisymmetrical body with payload, cruise engine plant and takeoff-and-landing shock absorbers. Mounted between struts of shock absorbers and cruise engine nozzle is heat shield made in form of hollow thin-walled compartment made from heat-resistant material.
EFFECT: minimization of gas dynamic and thermal loads on shock absorbers from working engine during launching and landing; enhanced reliability of shock absorbers at repeated use of launch vehicle (up to 50 times).
