FIELD: mechanical engineering; lifting facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic jacks designed for rescue operations at recovery after earthquakes, emergencies, catastrophes on ground and in fresh and sea water at depths up to 10 m, for making passages in falls, expanding, lifting and supporting loads, bracing and holding in fixed position. Proposed jack consists of body, control unit, cylinder housing, rods getting out of cylinder housing and support members. Cylinder housing is fitted in hole of jack body. Axis of housing is square to axis of jack body and devices height of body in ratio 2:3 in direction from bottom of jack body. Cylinder housing in made in form of tube whose outer surface is formed by combination of cylinder and two truncated cones made with decreasing of diameter in direction of extension of rods. Said tube in its central part is made cylindrical of length equal to outer diameter of jack body.
EFFECT: improved reliability and convenience in operation.
